Kenneth Jay Lane worked in the artistic department of VOGUE under the direction of Diana Vreeland (great editor-in-chief of the American magazine).
The designer has also designed costume and couture jewelry for Dior.
He created his own brand of costume jewelry in 1963 and the success was immediate.
